How Reiki Massage Supports Trauma Release and Somatic Healing

When I created my Reiki massage sessions, it wasn’t just about offering something relaxing. It came from seeing a pattern again and again in my practice. Clients would come in with chronic tension, pain that wouldn’t fully resolve, or a constant feeling of being “on edge.” Even when we worked the muscles, there was often something deeper still being held in the body.
This is where Reiki massage becomes more than just bodywork. It becomes a way to support the nervous system, the physical body, and the energetic body all at once.
Reiki massage is a therapeutic approach that blends massage therapy with energy work to help release muscle tension, calm the nervous system, and support the body’s natural healing process. The session ends with a chakra crystal grid and gentle energy clearing techniques to help integrate the work. This supports the body in coming back into balance and can leave you feeling more aligned, relaxed, and regulated.
